Family tradition since 1966

For 50 years, the tastiest noodles have come from the Far East of the Netherlands, Enschede! It all started in 1966 when Mr. Van der Moolen Sr. was a waiter in his Chinese father’s Chinese restaurant. He knew from his native country what authentic noodles should taste like, but the suppliers at the time could not deliver the desired quality noodles that he had in mind. The idea arose to make authentic noodles themselves.

Authentic rolled noodles

After a long period of testing and modifications to machines, it worked; the best authentic rolled noodles is made in Enschede. Initially, the noodles were made on a small scale for their own Chinese restaurant, but soon many other Chinese restaurants were also interested. The new company became a reality in 1966 under the name ‘Miefabriek Tai Ming’. Nowadays under the name of the brand of Van der Moolen Noodle & Pasta Solutions, under which the tastiest rolled noodles are sold. After all, Tai Ming also means: the tastiest noodles!

Growth in full swing

In the meantime, Van der Moolen Noodle & Pasta Solutions has grown into a major company. A specialism has arisen in the field of noodles and pasta, in which tailor-made adjustments to wishes are of paramount importance. The factory itself has been significantly expanded with, among other things, its own cooking department. This makes it possible to optimally meet the demand for chilled noodles, pasta and rice. With a team of enthusiastic colleagues, we work closely together every day to produce or pre-cook a high-quality and diverse range of noodles, pasta and rice.

FSSC 22000 and SKAL certified: a food safety guarantee

In addition to quality, food safety is also of paramount importance to us. Our production company is under strict supervision and meets the strict FSSC 22000 requirements. This is an important guarantee for food-safe production. Our factory is also SKAL certified and we produce various organically controlled noodles.
